Do you like to lip sync?? Of course you do!! EVERYONE loves to lip sync!!
Trailer Teaser #1 (2016). All I Do is Win - Filthy Animals redux (Lip Sync re-make) DJ Khaled, Luda, T.Pain, R. Ross & Snoop https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5xqzYkqHiZ4 Man! Do we have an exciting opportunity for you and your Advisory students!! In a further bid to build upon our school culture and establish stronger Advisory culture we would like you and your Advisory to get on board with our 3rd Annual contest -> “The-OB-Advisory-Lip-Sync-Music-Video-Remake-Competition”. As was mentioned at our November staff meeting we would like you to spend some time pitching the idea to your Advisory on Monday (Nov. 20th). Please see a timeline for the project below. The Basics: Create a 30-90 second lip sync’d music video that includes as many people in your Advisory as possible. Please see examples at the bottom of this message. The videos can be a song chosen by your students and can be as elaborate or ‘basic’ as your Advisory wants them to be. NUMBER ONE: We want your participation in this fun opportunity. One of the special factors realized in the past lip syncs was the variety of students that were engaged in the school culture and seeing students collaborating with each other across different grades and peer groups. Please Note: This is not expected to be another add-on to your already busy workload. It is intended to be completed by the students in your Advisory. It won’t take long and may easily be done in some of the Advisory time leading up to December 15th. Be Creative! Obviously we want you to go ‘All Out’ (eg. costumes, choreo, props, edits, etc.) but you’ll be amazed at how entertaining a simple lip sync can be. But please remember THIS: It is a Contest! KEY DATES: Monday November 20th - Getting the kids to buy-in and Song Selection is key. Please tell The Judging Committee by Monday, November 27th Advisory block if your Advisory is committed to making a video. You can do this by filling in this form: https://goo.gl/forms/5u54XZcvevSsCl7y2 There is strength in numbers! If this project sounds intimidating to your Advisory then we suggest to partner up with another Advisory. (NUMBER ONE: We want your participation in this fun opportunity.) Please be a part of this opportunity. We already have over 10 Advisory’s that are committed to being a part of this fun opportunity. Timeline: Monday Nov. 20 Pitch the idea to your Advisory and get the students on board. Brainstorm possible song, choreo and filming ideas Monday Nov. 27 Submit your song choice to the ‘Judging Committee’ Start planning for filming. ('Shotty Rules' Apply - To avoid duplicates we will only have one Advisory doing one song.) Tuesday Nov. 28 to December 15th. Film and edit your video Friday Dec. 15th Submit your video file by the end of the day to Tessa Kubicek Creative Ideas and Options: Here are some helpful ideas to get you started. You and your kids will likely have LOADS of ideas, these might help them get started.
